3D Chromadepth Art by Taras Piven

Welcome to our website - the unique place to see, buy and play with latest and coolest 3D/4D art and technology. 3D art from/on our website is best viewed with special prismatic Chromadepth ™ eyeglasses that can be ordered from our store.

Website visuals were created by a single artist-designer, Taras Piven, during years 2009 - 2011. True power of 3D Chromadepth ™ comes alive in his work, making dimensional depth to fade-out and effects to fade-in which achieved by correct placement of color spectrum gradual coloring, image perspective parameters and blur-sharpness factors.

According to many spectators, Chromadepth ™ effect and glasses deliver much more realistic depth feeling and MUCH less head/eye strain than any other conventional "3D glasses" methods. Some of the great old school painters knew about spectral delivery of Sun light to Earth and utilized it accordingly, and today, on this website you may enjoy latest Color achievements.

Original art is available in sizes from small iPhone resolution to 42" x 42" printed sizes or digital files, which large enough to be scaled for large outdoor LED displays, etc. Website is during development but soon you will be able to purchase 3D posters and 3D LED backlit displays that look awesome in any modern house/apt setting.

Chromadepth ™ glasses and 3D imaging are the newest and most versatile 3D methods available. This proprietary process allows spectacular 3D images to be created and presented in film, video, television, computer graphics, and laser displays. Unlike the traditional 3D process that requires 2 images, Chromadepth ™ information is encoded from a single image through the use of binary optics and color. The 3D Chromadepth ™ glasses create striking 3D images from normal 2D images by pulling forward the color red to the foreground and sorting the remaining colors according to their position in the rainbow. The Chromadepth ™ process encourages fantastic 3D illusions without compromising the quality of the image when viewed without the glasses.

ChromaDepth is not strictly a stereoscopic effect, it can actually be perceived with only one eye. However, there is a stereoscopic element that greatly enhances the effect where it relies on the different wave lengths of light, the blue light wavelength being longer than red. This effect is enhanced by using prisms that expand the difference between the colors. ChromaDepth eyeglasses are 98% transparent and clear colored, with no shaded or colored lenses which allows for great reduction of visual distortions and strain or even pain on eyes, brain (which happens often with conventional 3D apparel.)

Amazing effects can be achieved both with abstract and realistic visuals. Objects far away need to be colored to the low end of the spectrum and in front - warm red-orange-yellow colors. Combinations of Blue>Green>Red works good on dark backgrounds; Cyan>Magenta>Yellow on light. A mixed blue/black background allows for maximum use of the full spectrum Black/Blue>-Blue>Cyan>Green>Yellow>Orange>Red. An image can use all three of these together as needed, as long as overlapping techniques are correct and visual result can be logically analyzed and understood with human sight. Unique to ChromaDepth is the change in effect perception simply by moving further or closer away from the image.

Interestingly enough, Chromadepth ™ technology has evolved from the military applications where pilots or display operators could see different depth of field while targeting and on the radars. Also geological and topographical maps use this effect to properly see height of the terrain.

3D Chromadepth ™ glasses were developed in United States and are the hottest, inexpensive promotional item delivering tremendous marketing impact. A variety of frame styles, full color printing, and intricate die-cutting make it easy to customize the 3D Chromadepth ™ glasses for maximum advertising impact. 3D ChromaDepth technology and glasses developed and made by American Paper Optics and visual art created by Taras Piven.

We hope you will enjoy 3D Chromadepth art and will be our customer in a future!
